Kevin Lo is an Operating Partner for S2G

Kevin is a technology executive who’s built and led large scale engineering and business teams at Google and Facebook. Most recently, he served as Senior Advisor to DARPA and DOD Research and Engineering, working on Food Security, Synthetic Biology and AI. For most of the past decade, Kevin was a technology executive leading human health and food system companies. 

Previously, Kevin was a senior executive at Meta and Google. At Meta, Kevin led Connectivity and Investments, the company’s global initiative to connect 4 billion people to the Internet using space, high altitude and terrestrial wireless systems. Before that, he was General Manager at Google where he co-founded and built Google Fiber and other wireless initiatives including Google WiFi. At Google, he also served on the governing board for a number of the company’s moonshot’ initiatives, most notably in human health and diagnostics. 

Earlier in his career, Kevin founded and built two software companies, both of which were acquired. He also ran NaviSite, a publicly traded telecom infrastructure company.  He started his career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company and received his AB from Harvard University where he was a Harvard National Scholar. 

Kevin serves on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations in the education space, including serving as board chair of Benetech, a leading global literacy firm supporting communities with disabilities and learning differences. He’s a Trustee at the Cardigan Mountain School and also serves on the Board of Advisors of Harvard College. 

Kevin Lo is an independent advisor and serves as an Operating Partner for S2G and certain S2G portfolio companies. Kevin is not an employee of S2G Investments, LLC.
