Steven Yang

Steven has over a decade of investment experience in the energy sector spanning growth equity, private equity, and infrastructure. Prior to joining S2G, he was a Principal at Energy Impact Partners (EIP), where he led the origination, execution, and management of investments across clean molecules, power, and other energy transition subsectors. Before EIP, he was a Vice President at SER Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm investing in sustainable industrial, environmental, and renewable energy businesses. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years at Energy Capital Partners (ECP), where he worked across all areas of the firm’s investment activities in the North American energy sector. Steven holds a B.S. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
